Ready to hear a cool family adventure? In this episode, Marc and Jane Adams explain how they left it all in Chicago and took their family on an amazing round the world adventure by sailboat aboard Sailing Vessel Imagine. A trip that took them around the world in over 3 years!
They took some time to tell us about the highs and the lows of their trip and how some advice on how they were able to make it happen.
This episode is extra fun because it’s one of the families we sailed with during our sailboat adventure. We met up in several places throughout the Mediterranean including a week in Rome and the Canary Islands where we celebrated an American Thanksgiving together!

Oh dear you are so right…this podcast hit home to me the aspect of regret. I am 59 now, when my son was 5 and daughter 7 I wanted us all to sail around the greek islands and then down into the indian ocean region for how ever ling it took us. expecting around 18 months on the boat. My wife and I cold not come to grips with it and we left the idea and our kids excitement on the shelf for later. Well here I am 59, kids grown up, grandchildren and I regret not having bitten the bullet and done it. Think hard on the ideas, but think positive…consider why you should not why you should not! Great to hear your story.
