Ship an RV to Europe!
Elizabeth joins us from the campgrounds of Europe, during their gap year, and from the family travel blog: “12 Months 2 Go“. They have been living an epic journey all throughout Europe and into Eastern Europe for nearly a year! She and Kay shipped a US s”5th wheel” and Dodge diesel truck over to Europe and have been learning how to make it all work with twin 13 year old teenagers: Noah and Madison.
About 3 years ago we made the decision to figure out how to take a year off from work and school and travel. And we began making plans. It’s been three years of reading, three years of saving money and paying off bills, three years of convincing ourselves that we can figure out how to make the money work, and three years of figuring out a route, governments, vehicle insurance, passports, and international banking.
As they come to the close of their gap year, they had this to say: What an adventure it’s been. Some great times. Some challenges. Lots of living!
